（b）withregardtotherelationshipbetweentheparticipants'reportedawarenessofmetacognitivestrategiesandlisteningcomprehension，onlypersonknowledgewasrelatedtolisteningcomprehensionincycle2forthosewholistenedwithouttraining（eitherlisteningonetimeorthreetimes）;onlymentaltranslationawarenesswasnegativelyrelatedtolisteningcomprehensionofthosewholistenedthreetimeswithschema-raisingtrainingorwithouttraining;reporteduseofplanning-evaluation，directedattentionandproblemsolvingawarenesswerenotfoundtoberelatedtolisteningcomprehension.

（c）regardingtherelationshipsbetweentheparticipants'reportedawarenessofmetacognitivestrategiesandincidentalvocabularyacquisition，fewsignificantcorrelationswerefound.reporteduseofplanning-evaluationstrategieswaspositivelyrelatedtotheimmediateproductiontestsandreceptivetestsforthoselearnerswholistenedthreetimeswithouttraining;mentaltranslationwasnegativelyrelatedtotheimmediatereceptivetestsinlisteningcycle1forthoselearnerswholistenedthreetimeseitherwithinferencingtrainingorwithouttrainingandalsotothedelayedproductiontestsofthosewholistenedthreetimeswithinferencingtraining.therelationshipbetweenpersonknowledgeawarenessandincidentalvocabularyacquisitionwasmostevidentinthereceptivetestsforthosewholistenedthreetimeswithouttraining.
